Mr. Ben Ng, Investment Director, Corporate Business Development, Cisco Systems .Ben Ng is the Investment Director for the Corporate Business Development group in Cisco Systems Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he is responsible for venture investments, acquisitions and strategic partnership in the Asia Pacific region.Cisco’s global investment and acquisition strategy is among the most acclaimed in the industry and has resulted in the company’s successful entry into several new arenas, strengthening Cisco’s position in growth markets. Ben and his team have the charter to extend Cisco’s horizons into the Asia Pacific region, particularly in the high-growth and strategic sourcing countries such as China and India.

Prior to his current corporate business development role, Ben has held a number of technical and marketing positions within Cisco Asia Pacific and the U.S. headquarter in California. Before joining Cisco, Ben was a co-founder of Metaplex, a network protocol conversion company that was subsequently acquired by Cisco in 1996.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of New South Wales and a MBA from Macquire University in Sydney, Australia.
