JooDong Yu has more than 12 years of financial and commercial experience in investment, consulting, venture incubation, finance, semiconductor, and display industries in Korea.

  Since he joined SAIF in early 2006, Mr. Yu has been actively involved in SAIF’s investment activities across online game, semiconductor, and handset component sectors. He currently represents SAIF in the Board of Directors of two portfolio companies. Prior to SAIF, he worked for KVF (a local venture investment fund) as Senior Investment Manager with focus on telecommunication equipment, display, and mobile contents sectors. He also worked at Nemo Partners (local consulting and business incubation firm) from 2000-2002.

  Mr. Yu received Masters degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 1994. He graduated from Seoul National University with a Bachelors degree in Inorganic Materials Engineering.
